Tumor (2015)
A 24 in x 48 in wall hanging that is composed of sixteen 12 in x 12 in squares. Each square was hand dyed red and then screen printed with the blue line pattern. The quilted piece was sewn together with a backing and some areas were stuffed with polyester filling. Some of the screen printed lines were machine embroidered in blue, creating valleys and "tumors" from areas that were extra stuffed.
